Our engineering capacity is largely devoted to the development of OEM roof systems. This is a complex process involving:

  • Work on elaborating the concept
  • Product design including linkage to a particular CAD model
  • Manufacturing and testing of prototypes
  • The design of tools and molds
  • The design of gauges and assembly fixtures

The creation of production control procedures and mechanisms.

These processes cannot be implemented without a strong CAD capability and state of the art analytical methods, such as FEA. Rapid prototyping and mathematical simulation are of course, guaranteed. Testing capability and competence was introduced recently.

Reacting to a constant increase in demand for development and testing capacity, the company management initiated the establishment of a new department.

Crossbars are the natural companions of roof-rack, or roof track solutions, making the system functional. All our systems are designed to meet the stringent city crash test; involving loading to maximum capacity (100 kg + 20 % = 120 kg) and being submitted to a load shock of 1000 – 1500 kg.

Products so developed are sold as original features (optional extras) or distributed through the dealership network as “original accessories”. The price they command reflects this fact.
